Can you save and load flightplans? You can try to start msfs with admin. If that doesn’t work then I dont know what else could be the problem…

Works perfect here and much better on sensitivity of the throttle with those settings… Thanks!
You might want to make a new topic about it and hopefully more people notice it.

Yes I can load and safe FP Started as admin … still no ThrottleConfiguration.ini in any folder :sob:

I got mine to work properly by defining a keyboard shortcut (CTRL+i for Normal) and then using T.A.R.G.E.T to define a profile for the quadrant so that the selector knob (The knob is button 7 for Crank and button 8 for IGN) button release activates the Keyboard shortcut. Works a treat

Both of these links are the same page.

Ohhhh… this looks like a good idea. I’m gonna try this… thanks.

Just to be sure, you did use the foldername a32nx right? in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\a32nx\work

You could also try to rename LocalState folder to _LocalState and retry, maybe it’s a permission issue of the folder.

The Packages folder does not exist in the LocalState folder

Oh sorry …stupid me … blind I am

Thank you for your help
I have the A32NX in the LocalCache/Packages/community and the
ThrottleConfiguration.ini in the LocalState/packages/a32nx/work

so I changed the ini to the right values …it but it will not work

I tried the Gremil vJoke way of WoodyWoodsta94 it worked, but not as it should. So I deleted vJoke … but something is messed up since then … ReverseOnAxis gone

Okay, so generally this setup works. But it’s set for both thrust lever right?
Now my issue is on idle, my thrust quadrant doesn’t both sit at 0%. Only the Left throttle sits at 0% but my right throttle is sitting at 4%. So they’re asymmetrical a little. If I change Axis Y to have a higher neutral, it’ll sit on the IDLE correctly, but pushing to the CL detent, won’t have both throttle match too.

And if I put a slight pressure downwards on IDLE and in locked position, the slight wobble in the quadrant also wobbles the thrust lever in the cockpit as well. Now usually I set the deadzone to ignore this input. But thanks to the config file, the deadzone doesn’t apply on IDLE. It applies on the CL. So when I wobble the quadrant on IDLE it still wobbles the lever in the cockpit. but if I make movements on the CL, it ignores a part of it.

I dunno how to balance these two throttles.

  1. Try to calibrate quadrant to balance both thrust first.
  2. Don’t use newest fireware 1.61 ,use 1.60
  3. Missing one step in official A320_Throttle_Factory_Calibration document . should press button 1 and 2 at idle position before reverse position. But have to take risk ,maybe mess up virtual buttom . just my owned experience.

Have you tried these settings?

I’m on 1.61 and used your settings and no issues on the levers.

increase 2-3% thrust at idle after upgrate to 1.61.So back to 1.60

Yeapp, thanks… I just recalibrated mine with 1.61 and it’s working perfectly now.

I’m obviously missing something.

I’ve installed the latest Dev version of FBW and stopped & started MSFS many times but cannot find the above folder. There’s no packages folder under the LocalState directory.

What am I doing wrong?
Do you have to install the specific Dev version mentioned in the links above?

My MSFS is installed on an F:\ drive and is the Store version.

Do you know that the Packages folder have both Community and Official folder? You should see a third folder inside the Packages folder called A32NX. It’s in this folder where the throttle config file resides.

Try this instead: %APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages

I deleted the A32NX in the communtity folder and installed the newest DEV version by means of the A32NX downloader.
Then the …/WORK/… ini appeared in LocalState with default parameter.
Try it … good luck
