I had similar weakness between the climb & flex positions and noted that the detents weren’t that firm so I made some minor adjustments to the model and re-printed it.
In the end the detents still aren’t that firm however the increased range idle-climb is worth the effort. Just need to be careful in setting the dead zones to account for the detent lack of firmness.
be nice if the detent decals could be printed as stickers by a company i mean to buy
Are there any intrsuctions as to how these pieces should be installed?
Hello - this is not that difficult. If you turn the Lever you can already see where it belongs.
just about to get the TCA pack and wanted to try the v6 detent:
1)Firstly in the UK and don’t have a 3d printer so don’t mind buying the pre made part - is the below part made using the V6 template and is there any other alternative seller if I want to order the detent ready made?
2)How easy is it to install and can anyone provide the link to a guide?
3)Have seen a similar detent mod for the flaps - anyone any idea where I can get that one?
Hey StaceyAEH, this mod looks perfect.
Quick question, does it also add a reverse idle detent?
If not, a consideration for v7?
How much are they charging you for shipping?
actually works out at around 12GBP (note have a 4 engine setup so will need x4 : )
but before I ordered wanted to check that the piece in the link is the same as is being discussed in this thread thread(v6) and is it relatively easy to fit?(if not is there anywhere else you can get this part “premade” - as dont have a 3d printer)
i should almost have you buy some for me and ship em to me in an envelope. they want like 35 bucks or something crazy to ship to Switzerland.
can i do this spoiler thing without fsuipc and thrustmaster target instead?
Hi,
Has anyone found any settings which work on xbox? I believe the current ones in the thread are for PC and from trying them, they don’t work properly.
Cheers
I’m still looking for someone who could print and ship them to me. Will compensate for the trouble, of course.
does v6 have idle reverse detent?
Where in the world do you live?
I’m in Europe.
Hi guys, I made custom decals if anybody is interested
Here’s the link via google drive: Thrustmaster airbus throttle decals - Google Drive
It contains the PDF file, as well as a PSD file if you want to edit it. When printing the PDF, please make sure NOT to select “Fit to printable area” and make sure to choose an option that prints the whole thing instead (it varies from browser to browser, or whatever app you print it in).
These decals are actually based on this 3D Model: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Detent with revers idle for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS , which is why I provided a PSD in case the labels don’t line up properly. But I’ve also printed the v6 and they seem to line up when putting the 3D printed pieces side-by-side but I’m not sure if they line up (I haven’t tried the v6 yet).
NOTE: In the sample picture that I took, the Flex and TOGA are connected by a line instead of being separated as they should be. Below is the actual version that’s included in the google drive link.
Super, thank you.
I printed out the parts again and exchanged them for Version5. Fits.
When printing the PDF of the lettering, I set the size to 106% - then it fit.
Thank you again
Dieter
By looking at this short, it looks like idle reverse has a detent or at least some kind of resistance.
I just tried that again. There is no noticeable detent on the controls. But in the A320 FBW you hear a “click” (or “clack”) on idle reverse.
Just to add my input here, there is a detent for min reverse on the actual aircraft.
A fair bit of force is required to put the mechanism past into forward idle to stow the reversers.
