Don’t beat yourself up for following installation instructions that hundreds of others have done just as I have without problems.
I would still be tempted to run the Thrustmaster calibration as shown in DartoFieders post of Feb 28 but on your own computer.
Watch for smooth travel on every axis.
Then in the sim watch for smooth travel in the sensitivities panel for each axis.
Do it several times , move the pedals slowly, then quickly etc.
If the responses are proper in this panel then I would say it is not your pedals.
If they are not proper, then I would suspect your pedals. The connection maybe.
Just trying to help eliminate your expensive pedals as the problem then maybe zero in on the real cause.
