Just a reminder, this thread was about a hardware error with the pedals, not a software or driver issue. After I received the new pedals I was able to use them without any drivers or software loaded. No disconnects have happend since.

After replacing the PCB and finally getting it connected, calibrated and continuously working for 5 days the pedals did what it did originally where they don’t work after starting the sim. Shut it all down, disconnect the USB, reconnect, restart the sim and it worked. I don’t have that problem with Honeycomb Alpha, Bravo NOR my old Logitech Rudder Pedals. Rotated through all USB ports on my ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670 EXTREME Motherboard. I hope I didn’t spend $650 for a boat anchor. This started in April '23.
Sorry to hear that the problem is back after you replaced the PCB. My pedals disconnected twice the other night, causing the sim to crash with it. I have not run them again to see if the problem was a fluke. Fingers crossed.
Pain in the a…
Exit Sim. Remove the Device. Unplug the cable. Plug the USB in another port. Restart the Sim. Rudder pedals work for that session.
RINSE.
REPEAT.
Don’t have that issue with Logitech pedals.
Mine is connected to a USB hub plugged into a USB 3.0 port. Works like a champ.
I’ve used every port the motherboard has to offer.

I gave my TPR’s away. They work just fine. On his computer. I guess Thrustmaster don’t read these forums.
Yess, this was the solution for my son rudder problem.
Very important read manuals.
And talk with friends.
Agree my friend.
I have been lurking on this forum for a while, particularly on this thread and have learned a lot. Very knowledgeable and generous bunch of people. I am very new to MSFS having just set things up, a big learning curve indeed.
Current problem is the Thrustmaster pedals. They are a recognised device in MS and work well in the Controls screen. First test fright they did not work so ended up parked in the grass. Brakes worked fine. Went back to the control panel and found the default settings for the HC yoke had assigned rudder trim to a button. So removed that assignment. Next test fright checked the rudder via external camera prior to starting. No joy. Pedal are plugged into USB3 on motherboard. Adaptor is switched to aircraft and I have not downloaded any Thrustmaster software. Autorudder is off.
I then went to the flight school page and commenced in C172 Skyhawk ( what I learned to fly in 55yrs ago). Rudders worked a treat. Went back to flight page and tried again. No rudder. So I am a bit perplexed.
This is my equipment list.

Hi All. Got the pedals working. Unplugged pedals and swapped USB3 port on motherboard with that of the yoke. Both work now. Strange.
April 3, 2025 Thrustmaster still building and selling non-functional hardware. I have purchased the A-10 Warthog HOTAS stick and throttle along with the TP Rudders and Thrustmaster failed to adhere to the well published Microsoft requirements for hardware plug-n-play compatibility. Therefore Windows 11 does not see all 3 pieces of hardware no matter what you do. It will see the stick and throttle, but the second you add the TPR it lumps them all together as one unit and games cannot utilize that. Maybe it’s time to Sue Thrustmaster for knowingly selling doorstops as if they were functional hardware. Then they will either learn to build functional hardware or go out of business.
