After the rounded mountains, low-res generic scenery and weird and misplaced rivers of Tibet in FS2004 and FSX, I wasn’t expecting much – but these speak for themselves, mainly from East Tibet, one from Lhasa, Potala beautifully donel!

It is mostly empty. 
It wouldn’t surprise me to discover that there were restrictions that prevent the highest resolution from being used.
Interesting point, although the resolutions look pretty impressive and high to me, and I wonder whether Chinese authorities have any authority over Bing’s data.
Someone was re-making the Lhasa airport too. It was somewhere on the forums here…
