I’m experiencing a weird issue with the tiles loading during flight on high altitudes. Terrain LOD sits at 200, anyone know why would this happen?

Have you checked if it’s the same in Bing maps? It may be a problem of that specific location.

it can be due to bandwith issue or as @MrFuzzy4528 said, due to the fact of inconsistent Bing mapdata OR and that is sadly more likely on top of the very different appearence of the map data, that at 30k ft up the LOD tiles become just very obvious especially with little to no clouds, and that is just how it is.

I have to say that in general the scenery even from high altitude looks very very good on MSFS with the exception of areas not well served by Bing first of all… such as Murmansk and Northern Russia (if you look for my Murmansk bug report in the forum you can see what I’m talking about)
It heavily depends on the area. The below shots were taken above 30K ft and look very good.

Agreed…my complaint of the scenery is there is a blue hue applied to it and the sky so scenery loses distinction between sky and land. (might be my card)
It’s how it is in reality:
Agreed but I think they could turn it down a little in the sim.
