I’ll make additional tests but did not notice this behavior. When starting a flight the weather preset was always applied (from what I remember).
Normal Presets, yes. But when I do a custom one, it doesn’t seem to apply it the first time I start a flight.
Ok. There are so many possible combinations that it is difficult to make a clear report for the devs of what it is not saved after a sim restart and after having started a flight and restarted the sim
.
I would say that once your have setup your choice in Flights Conditions and clicked on “Save and Back”, it is the point they need to make sure the weather setup is saved whatever you restart the sim right away or you start a flight and restart the sim.
So after further testing, can confirm that if a flight was started, it saves the weather but not the time settings between sessions.
When changing custom weather settings like cloud ceiling, winds etc. it’s not applied on the first flight of the session and has to be set again when in flight. After that it saves it, even between sessions.
When not going into a flight, it seems to reset the weather settings to whatever it was set before when restarting the sim ONLY when custom weather is set and a flight is not started.
So it saves Live and Preset without starting a flight between sessions for me, but not when a custom weather is set.
So would say about 60% solved?? If it would save time/date and custom weather when set between sessions, that would be a 100% solved.
Not resolved for me in .27, Still have the issue of the flight loading in ~5-10 minutes behind live time with live time selected
Your issue is different than the one reported in this topic, you should create a new report (using the provided template).
If you have ELEVATEX running, changing the time will reset it to now. Turn it off, and it will solve your problem, but you won’t be able to follow your flight. I tried to rerun Volanta during the flight, and it reset to the present time. You can use VOLANTA instead, to follow your flight. It seems there are no issues when it’s running and you change the time. It works for me.
Did you ever find a solution? If not, I made this
