“TIME” has been an issue since before Aug 2020. There are numerous examples of incorrect time at airports, servers with different time zones preventing the program to even start, release dates not synced to UTC. etc etc. My local time is UTC +10 but with summer time saving causing changes twice a year my time and my local airport times go out of sync for sometimes weeks and i suspect this is due to the server corrections not being synced correctly. Its no way near as bad now as it was when first released in 2020. Because its been such a variable issue i have not raised a zendesk report.mainly because the zendezk reporting system is just as broken.
Did you… um… press the LIVE button on the Time and Weather? Or just press the Live Multiplayer which will lock you into the current real time all the time.
I think this is different. When I load up the sim/flight planner for the first time, the time is accurate. When I exit back to the planner, it’s off by a lot.
Yes, the UTC is always set to live. It’s a little hard to reproduce for me. I tried for a while last evening. The night I posted the bug, it was happening repeatedly.
I’m wondering if it’s related to specific planes, because I was flying different planes tonight. If you’d rather close the bug, I understand, as I can’t seem to reproduce it reliably.
I had on the 31. December 2024 this problem that time is been not synchronized correctly from 10AM Local time at UTC 0 till 8PM at home in MSFS2020 13.8.2 40th anniversary deluxe edition.
I had Internet connection and do not play multiplayer. I triple checked my time settings and updated time on W11, but this did not display the correct day in MSFS2020.
At 10AM in the morning on 31st, I had standing the 1st of January `25.
As I mostly play on PC, I checked also on Xbox X, same version of the sim. Identical results.
Never mind, is just an observation which seemed to me strange.
Or might there be something which I do not know currently as beginner with MSFS2020?
