PS: These mandatory tag requirements are absurd.

“TIME” has been an issue since before Aug 2020. There are numerous examples of incorrect time at airports, servers with different time zones preventing the program to even start, release dates not synced to UTC. etc etc. My local time is UTC +10 but with summer time saving causing changes twice a year my time and my local airport times go out of sync for sometimes weeks and i suspect this is due to the server corrections not being synced correctly. Its no way near as bad now as it was when first released in 2020. Because its been such a variable issue i have not raised a zendesk report.mainly because the zendezk reporting system is just as broken.

Hi @mblpenguin!
There is a master topic about the time being off by daylight savings time. Could you look through this topic to see if it’s similar? What we want to avoid is duplicate topics where votes would split on similar topics.

That master one is here:
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sim-clock-time-off-by-one-hour-dst/345904

Let me know if this is similar. Thank you much!

Did you… um… press the LIVE button on the Time and Weather? Or just press the Live Multiplayer which will lock you into the current real time all the time.

I think this is different. When I load up the sim/flight planner for the first time, the time is accurate. When I exit back to the planner, it’s off by a lot.

Thank you for getting back!

Have tried what @Neo4316 posted above?

Yes, the UTC is always set to live. It’s a little hard to reproduce for me. I tried for a while last evening. The night I posted the bug, it was happening repeatedly.

I’m wondering if it’s related to specific planes, because I was flying different planes tonight. If you’d rather close the bug, I understand, as I can’t seem to reproduce it reliably.

Hi @mblpenguin,
Let’s keep it open for a little longer. If you can reproduce, you can post back. If not, shoot me a message and we’ll close it. :+1:

When you have a moment, can you share a few screenshots of the issue in MSFS and your Windows time settings?

I have no proof yet, but i think the time bug is triggered by switching aircraft. Still trying to reproduce accurately.
