Time out for MsFs, enough is enough

To Day, good flying, bad weather, good landings, back on X plane, yes the candy is not as good, but whats the point when you cant fly, the great fly by wire air caft, for freezing, the CJ 4… CTD, Mandatory updates, breaks more than it fixs. But good ol Zibos mod 737-800
All the knobs work easyer than A320, took 5 mins to get the cfg.files to give me thoughs
Great through the wing windows views, a push button for the out side Spot view fly by, which gives that all important sense of speed, then instant play back of your landings.
I,ll come back when Microsoft when it release the Alfa finished product. At the moment its just a beta. And when will they ever STOP mandatory updates.??? By all thx for all your suggestions, on helping me, but iv had enough.

I fly everything and agree entirely.

Thanks for the announcement. We all care very much. This was a very useful post that totally doesn’t clutter up the forums with silly content. Take care then.

I had a great flight today with the JU 52 flying from a grass strip near Heidelberg to Munich. Still learning the JU 52 and struggling to understand Germany instrumentation and labels, warmed up and took off, circling to gain altitude and lost all 3 engines but had enough altitude to return to the grass strip and landed.

Problem was since I started on the runway, engines were all ready running, but once airborne, my honeycomb yoke had the mags off, so the simulation must have read the peripheral and secured the mags. Went through the proper starting sequence and took off once again, used dead reckoning course speed and time coupled with the great graphics to get to Munich.

Live weather was on and scattered showers around Munich required me to drop down to below the scud to enter the pattern… what a great flight.

Sorry to hear the original poster is disappointed with MSFS, but I am having a blast.

Yep, MSFS is as good now as it has ever been since launch. Really enjoying the DC-6 in VR - it’s just awesome.

I’m taking a break myself while we wait on the next service updates. I’m flying the Tomcat in DCS at the moment. It’s absolutely mind-blowing. The ground textures aren’t much, but the lighting, clouds, turbulence, fog, etc are very nice too.

You want progress but no updates? Strange…
