I had a great flight today with the JU 52 flying from a grass strip near Heidelberg to Munich. Still learning the JU 52 and struggling to understand Germany instrumentation and labels, warmed up and took off, circling to gain altitude and lost all 3 engines but had enough altitude to return to the grass strip and landed.
Problem was since I started on the runway, engines were all ready running, but once airborne, my honeycomb yoke had the mags off, so the simulation must have read the peripheral and secured the mags. Went through the proper starting sequence and took off once again, used dead reckoning course speed and time coupled with the great graphics to get to Munich.
Live weather was on and scattered showers around Munich required me to drop down to below the scud to enter the pattern… what a great flight.
Sorry to hear the original poster is disappointed with MSFS, but I am having a blast.
