Timeouts for players occupying runway or taxiway for too long

There are a couple of complementary ideas on that, too:

Need spawn points holding short of runway with aircraft running

It would be nice to have spawning points in takeoff configuration, short of runway hold line instead of on runway or at least added to airports spawn points. In live mode there are too many multiplayer aircraft on runway. I never understood starting on the runway.

Start with aircraft ready-to-fly or cold-and-dark option when spawning on ramp/gate

Title says it all: you can either start the simulator ready to fly but only if you pop in the RWY which is really bad behaviour when an aircraft is on final, or, you can start the simulator cold & dark but only if not on the RWY. There are times you just don’t want to go through the entire checklists and just want to fly right away but don’t want to bother other players. Suggestion: if starting on RAMP/GATE, you can choose spawning in cold & dark or ready to fly. if starting on RWY Holding P…

Good idea. If a user has multiplayer set OFF then let them start from the runway. That is great for newbies. Set the default as Multiplayer=off. If multiplayer is ON start them at the parking spot.

You should feel lucky. There’s one player who’s been sitting on the runway that I normally fly at for the last 5 days. He moved from the taxiway originally and is now right in the middle of the runway at KOXR.

In MSFS24 carreer mode should occupying a runway for too long increase the airport fee.
