Hey I am looking for neat places to see in the game and I realized I haven’t really flown anywhere except London. So i was wondering what would your choice of most scenic places to fly in the UK are? Thanks.

The UK is rather lacking in photogrammetry, but around the Southampton / Portsmouth area on the south coast is pretty good.
A little biased admittedly as I hail from not far away.
OK ill check it out just loaded into isle of mann
From what I understand Portsmouth and Southampton, for some odd reason, are the only areas in the UK with photogrammetry which could explain why you think they’re pretty good.
lee on solent ? sounds like an act of violence.
Yes, Portsmouth and Southampton area are the only areas with photo scenery…
Most of fun with UK at the moment is being able to fly VFR and recognise the local towns and cities and being able to navigate for the first timers VFR.
One forum member is doing a coastal route around the UK…that might be an option and then explore a bit in land when you see something of interest. I haven’t been round our national parks yet so don’t know how well they’re represented.
Nah, that would be Leigh on Coke.
huh ok thanks for the replies, I think I also go to lochness and around Scotland and try and find places featured in Trainspotting like that train up the mountain scene…if its even really in Scotland
Don’t forget to try and land on the aircraft carrier in Portsmouth Harbour… (try as much as you like but you can’t).
Ugh there are trees growing on it, I dont think I can stop a Caravan quick enough
other than that Portsmouth looks pretty good
They must be new. Weren’t there when I checked before, but admittedly that was at least a month or so ago.
Comical! Still worth trying to land it though. I’ve been trying to land in American football stadiums managed centurylink field in Seattle and also foxboro but went through the roof in Dallas.
in what though ?
In the cub, tried it with icon but doesn’t stop quick enough
Start with the 747-8i and then slowly increase the difficulty
maybe I am weird but i like the GA aircraft better , I ve flown that once but prefer light aircraft, big airliners seem so impersonal .
take off climb to alttitude hit auto pilot take a anap and land zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Have to say that this sim has opened me up to enjoying different kinds of flying. Previously I was only a tubeliner fan, but you don’t get to enjoy the scenery anything like as much. The bush trips have been a godsend.
the Swiss alps are pretty nice and in America The Caifornia coast north of LA is pretty cool… Shelter Cove is a nice airport right on the coast …
