This is the first flight sim I’ve seen with Stowe Maries (Essex) airport. This is an old World War 1 airport, grass runway, currently being restored - not that exciting at the moment, but of historical interest.
That’s the one ! Also where I learnt that the Cub can’t roll through a small stream but will instead sink through the planet and crash …

UK2000 are a good developer of UK airports and I believe Orbx will bring over the GB TrueEarth scenery / landmarks to MSFS as well as there numerous high quality airports. Give it a few months but I think the UK will do very well in MSFS as it has done in other sims.

Why not come down to Cornwall? Take off from Lands End (EGHC) and fly the coast around to Penzance, head NE towards St. Ives and Hayle. Up the coast towards Newquay and cross over to the South Coast. You can land at Culdrose Naval Air Station. It might inspire you to come to Cornwall for a holiday next year
