No its definitely not that. I did go and check every single controller I have and their mappings and nothing has changed there. Again, if I start any in-air flight whether or not I set a destination it starts the flight with AP engaged. It definitely did not ever do that before. I had my 79 year old mother over the week before last and I did several flights started in air to give her some site seeing as well as a couple of full flight plans. Not once did this happen starting in air.
