Toggle Speaker, what does it?

As the title says, can anybody shed light to me what this does? I mapped it and cannot find any action it executes…
I talk about the red marked option in the screenshot.

I believe that just mutes the speaker for the nav receiver, so you don’t hear (IRL at least) periodic automated station ID announcements, morse code ID, WX, or other notifications ATC may choose to put out over the VORs. There’s normally also a button on the receiver panel to turn On/off the nav radios audio (or turn the volume up/down).

Okay thanks will check that, would have never come up with the idea that it is for the NAV Com, I thought it toggles ATC voice from headset to speaker, which would have make more sense…

I haven’t really tested in the sim how it’s modelled, so I could be off. But IRL, that’s how it works sometimes. Some aircraft will automatically route all comm to headsets if they’re plugged in, but some aircraft audio panels will still route signal to both headset and cabin speaker unless one or the other is muted.
Since it’s listed under “VOR”, I’m (somewhat!) comfortable that it’s only intended for the nav audio. But haven’t tested…
