Today´s conversation on youtube:

Q: Man i want the Raptor on Xbox too. Why Microsoft isnt able to bring this jet to us Console players too?

A: Microsoft has nothing to do with this. The Raptor is the result of the work of many very talented people, who have programmed it in their free time and pass it on as freeware. They just work with a PC and not with an x-box.

Yeah, we’re still waiting to be approved for the marketplace. We very much want to be on all available platforms. It’s a shame people have something to say even when uninformed. Do you have a link to the video so we can chime in?

LOOOOL

It´s my very own vid

I probably misjudged you there. Sorry for my arrogant answer.

And for sure I have a link:

Cheers and all the best.

No worries. Just want to make sure we get things out there correctly. Thanks for posting here and letting us know.

Love your video! Watched it back when it was released.

PHeeeeew,
I’m happy that you got this right.
With just 57 hits, I can’t have done much damage

Hi @KahngroTBO

They have deleted the responses to my post about the launch of Sukhoi 57 and merged with the title of another member by the name of: New Release: Deimos Su-57 Felon in Marketplace.

Therefore, I cannot answer you about your response to my post. I will do so by spearheading the new title of this Sukhoi-57 aircraft.

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for making it possible for me to download the Lockheed Martín “F-22 Raptor” aircraft from “FlightSim.to” and also free of charge.

And I had had that plane in FSX and it was already flying very well. Your insistence caught my attention. I searched for it, downloaded it, unzipped it and copied it into the “Community” folder.

I was very pleasantly surprised, as it also brings a superb User Manual.

Without further ado, I began to fly it over Madrid (capital of my country).

Of course, I was amazed that this well-developed aircraft is free. It is flawlessly developed and flies (and this is my biggest surprise) better than any of Asobo’s entire series of aircraft for MSFS. What’s more, the elementary aerobatic maneuvers are performed better than any of the 3 MSFS aerobatic planes. The maneuvers are performed with a truly remarkable smoothness and elegance. Even the augers, both normal and inverted. That plane could perfectly cost 40 to 60 € uros.

I already bought a few days ago, the Eurofighter Typhon, thinking that it would fly with the Rafale, (younger brother of the Eurofighter), but there is no comparison. I also had the aforementioned “Rafale C” in FSX, and that was superb in speed, agility and simplicity. It will be the next plane that I am going to get, free or paid, of course as long as it is well built and I fly correctly.

Anyway, again my thanks, more than for the fact that it is free, for how extraordinarily well this F-22 Raptor flies.

Kind regards: Delfin

One more hit. I just went to check it out

Hey everyone,

With the release of SU6 today I am sure many of us will run into issues with the F22 that will need to be addressed. Please give Evan and his guys time to fix them before giving bad reviews of the plane. They are usually pretty quick about getting updates to us as soon as possible. Just wanted to put it out there.

I actually have not found any issues with the F22 after updating today. In fact it seems the plane is flying even smoother if that was possible and even the torque throwing to the right on landing is not happening.

@evanburnsdev Issues found post SU6 (not too much or Game breakers):

-central primary display not showing terrain (plain black, just attitude bars and text)

-Canopy not transparent enough. Every sim update we achieve better graphics and details, so now is more obious to see the blury mess caused by canopy glass

Thanks. These are on my list of things to investigate today. The canopy should be easy enough since we had a similar situation when SU5 came out. I’ll post here when I get it all worked out.

I’m not seeing this on our dev build. I’ll do some more investigation to see if I can reproduce. I’ll fire up the release zip as well and see if it’s showing there.

Anyone else able to produce this one?

I’m not seeing the issue, or at least from a cold start.

It may be a first flight after patch issue
Not replicated today but all of today’s flights was without flightplan loaded. Bugged screen was with flightplan loaded before start flying

Ok. I haven’t tested with a flight plan loaded, so I’ll try that today once I get home from work.

I just read that Asobo finally documented vars and parameters in the SDK properly. Does that eventually help refining the avionics?

The docs site is a little broken right now, but I’m seeing a lot of new information on there. It’ll definitely help new developers learn what all the simvars do, but I’ve figured most of them out already through trial and error.
I’ll keep looking through it, though. It’d be awesome if they added some I’ve been asking for since the beginning (e.g. thrust direction).

Hi @evanburnsdev

INTRODUCTION:

Yesterday I came across a post and its author unexpectedly. The post is: "Top Much Studio:Lockheed Martib F-22 Raptor", and its author, naturally is you.

This was the consequence of a post of mine sent to the Forum in which I basically asked two questions about the F-22 Raptor. That post of mine was moved to “discussion-complement-of-third-parties: General Discussion aircraft”. After searching for possible answers to my questions, I found that there were no answers at all. That surprised me and I started diving for a link that would lead me to what I was looking for. Unexpectedly I found the most unexpected one: the author of this "flying work of art: the F-22 Raptor, Evanburnsdev.

I started to read with real interest the questions and answers of this post (578 between questions and answers). From the beginning, that was a real surprise, your enormous personal participation in each question that was asked, moreover, with precise and comprehensive answers, something that is not frequent in the answers of this Forum. The more I read on, the more I was surprised by your explanations about the many aspects of the aircraft to be corrected to improve its performance.

In addition to your professional work, that you dedicate so much time to develop this flying marvel, and as if that were not enough, your constant answers to the huge amount of questions you are asked, this is an enormous creative capacity. I am amazed at the enormous amount of hundreds of hours dedicated for free to this MSFS community. All this amount of work given voluntarily and free of charge when in this world, almost nothing is done in these conditions without money in return…

I think I can say that: it is such a great, prolonged and admirable effort (your effort, of the three components of this team), that it is difficult to quantify. If anyone in this community deserves great recognition for your creative work, one of the very, very outstanding team is called “Evanburnsdev, AdamBurry and Dakfly0219”. If I could give a rating between 0 and 10, I would give you guys an 11 (eleven).

So much for these introductory words, now I literally present to you the questions I initially asked this Forum, and which led me to your discovery: the authors of this “flying work of art”.

To the members of this Forum who have acquired the aircraft, “F-22A Raptor”.

I beg those who have this aircraft, please spare me a few minutes, only on the autopilot configuration, that is, I need exactly the sequence of manipulations to assign the values of: ALT, VS, SPD, HDG. To the autopilot

I always fly in “ready to fly”, and without going into greater depths, I am only interested in assigning values to these functions (which I already do currently). All of them are reflected in the PFD, but especially one of them, is excessively tiny and I would like to know, where to see these numbers indicating the larger HDG.

I have only been using MSFS for a few weeks (and even less with the F-52). I am convinced that I am not doing it correctly and I would like to know how to improve this sequence.

Another problem I have is this:

The Multi-Function Dispaly screens (MFDs) is where I enter the numbers, and the (PFD), is where these numbers are reflected. I have to view them simultaneously on the monitor, and it happens that I have to reduce excessively the set of the two screens (of the F-52 Raptor), which makes it very difficult for me to see especially the HDG function numbers. How can I improve this allocation of values and see them in a larger size.

How do I activate the Integrated Control Panel (ICP) screen (below the HUD), and how do I use this screen with its numbers and functions?

Once again, I ask for help to do this correctly.

Thank you very much for your effort and time spent.

Kind regards: Delfin

Delfin,
Thanks for the kind words. We’re glad you are enjoying it so much. Yeah, this thread is pretty long, but it’s also nearly a year old. Enjoying helping the community and learning.

Okay, so I think you have two questions:

  1. As far as assigning autopilot values, from page 10 of the documentation: In one of your Secondary MFD’s, one either the Engines page or the Fuel page, you’ll see an Autopilot function. Click that, and the following menu will be displayed:

You’ll be able to adjust those values from this page. An alternative, is to adjust keybindings to set all of those values, which should make it easier to see what the values are while you adjust them if you’re having difficulty. There’s plenty of references on how to set keybindings elsewhere on this forum and other places, so I’m sure you won’t find it too difficult.

  2. The ICP was never incorporated. Most of its functions (relating to MSFS, anyways) are handled by the other MFD’s, so there wasn’t necessarily a reason to build it out, yet.

I hope that answers your questions. Have a great weekend.
