All my aircraft are missing. I think with millions of users Microsoft should have prioritised a fix. It is very simple for them to imply users have not filled something in correctly or otherwise been the cause. Nothing has changed here except Microsoft have failed their somewhat captive customers again. Like a lot of people I know we are contemplating selling PC kit and unwillingly transferring to the enemy - Apple. My Grandson’s easter holiday is ruined, he travelled over 100 miles to fly, but Microsoft just idly say they are working on it. I’m not sure what is causing your issue, but of the millions of copies sold, this is the first I’ve seen of all aircraft disappearing.
There are no plans, at any time, of the sim switching to Apple.
I would suspect that this is something unique to your installation.
Let’s see what we can do here!
Inside the sim’s folder structure, can you find the “Local State” folder?
Inside that, there should be a folder marked “Packages”
The Official and Community folders in the above contain your aircraft.
Are the files there?
Yes, it is frustrating many of us in different ways.
In this time as we can see so much apps as fantastic and very realistic, I think HW side has to be handled carefully. I’m still on old rig but in most time I don’t have problems with CTD, crashes and in this time I have tests on FS2024 my HW and sim working very good. I have to say that I’m very impressed and enjoy 2024 version. I expect step to it in few days as my Pass will end and also hope that price low selling will stay to take it ok ![]()
What is more frustrating me is OS Win10 Home (sry to OFT) but it is essential to each HW functionality. Their support ended but OS still bother me quiet often with after boot up Update packages search engine run. It harms quite hard performance. Really I don’t care to their next pay update system but if they claimed to stop then I expect my system will have not this still update OS checks.
Hope all will go well for us and with sim simulation. All best…
Is it a fantasy during long easter vacation? I wonder if anybody is experiencing the same. Total failure is a very serious accusation whcih should be used in extreme care.
This is not a Technical Support Response as this is a peer-to-peer forum area
There’s probably a configuration issue in the sim or a supporting component. One quick way to resolve this is to check XBox Gaming client and MS-Store client for any pending updates. Also do the same for Windows - which typically has weekly updates for security and maintenance.
If you bought the sim through MS-Store, you also have the option to repair it in place and see if that resolves it. This should go fairly quickly since the baseline install is only 9GB.
I think a quick uninstall/reinstall of the sim would be pertinent along with checking you are up to date on all of your Win 11 updates.
