Sounds simple enough. I’ve downloaded the file. A couple of questions (and forgive me if these have been explained elsewhere and are obvious to most other forum members):
I have found the Community folder for my install.
- Can I drop the ZIP file directly in the Community folder or do I need to unzip it first?
- If I do have to unzip it first, do I move the entire decompressed ‘tap-dh88-comet’ folder into the Community folder as is? I notice this folder contains three subfolders: ContentInfo, Effects, and SimObjects. Based on previous versions (eg FS9, FSX) I would have expected that these three individual folders get dropped into the Community folder, but the ‘layout.json’ and ‘manifest.json’ files that are also included in the root of the ZIP file seem to contradict that approach.
I’m hoping somebody can steer this FS2020 newbie in the right direction.
