Always had 60hz monitors. Recenty got a 144hz monitor. TrackIR automatically turns on Vsync. If I turn off Vsync TrackIR fails to work. Problem is that with Vsync on msfs is unplayable. Severe stuttering etc. Anyway around this problem? Thanks
That’s interesting, I run TrackIR 5 and a 144hz monitor and have never had it turn this on.
Is it turning it on in MSFS Settings, or in nVidia Control Panel?
Same here.
I run a 144Hz monitor + TrackIR 5 and no V-Sync with no problems at all.
It is strange however that you are having problems with V-Sync on. I sometimes switch it on when testing some settings and everything is as smooth as it can be.
I do have a G-Sync capable monitor and an nVidia card.
TrackIR has never forced v-sync on for me, though I usually turn it on myself. Radeon 7900XTX. No problems at all with vsync or the TrackIR, they work fine together.
I’ve had two sessions flying this evening. Both times vsync has been on. I manually switch it off. Other than that it appears the flying problem has gone away. The new monitor is excellent, Asus ROG Swift PG38UQ, although despite only switching monitors there seems to be strange things happening e.g. my default sound system does not want to be default anymore as I have to manually switch it back. All seems really weird. Finally using HDR and 4k maxed and getting very good fps and 144hz is so smooth!
