Occasionally MSFS hangs on shutdown and I am forced to quit the MSFS process using the Task Manager. On the next boot of MSFS, I’m presented with the option of choosing Safe Mode or Normal Mode. Selecting the Normal Mode, MSFS should boot normally but often it does not initialize TrackIR and I have to reboot MSFS to get TrackIR to initialize. Not sure if this is something Asobo can fix or if it’s a TrackIR issue.
When MSFS crashes on me, I need to shut down the TrackIR software and restart it before I restart FS.
I can tell when this is necessary because the blue light on the TrackIR remains illuminated after FS crashes.
