may I suggest for your next video, a version without music in it? so we can appreciate the train sounds, from near and far. Thank you and keep up! 
[BETA] Train Addon for MSFS - Free Demo (Hamburg & Zurich)
Hey everyone! 
I’ve just uploaded two free Beta versions for you to test out.
What’s Included?
You can fly within a 20 km radius around two featured locations. Note: The full add-ons will cover both entire countries!
To start a flight, simply load these coordinates in the simulator:
- Hamburg, Germany: 53°33’06.6"N 10°00’21.0"E
- Zurich, Switzerland: 47°22’47.8"N 8°31’57.8"E
Installation
- Copy the folder to your
Communityfolder. - Launch
EnableAutostart.exe. - Start the simulator. The Train Monitor will open on your PC, allowing you to configure settings.
- Start your SIM

Important Notes & Feedback
- Flight Sim vs. Train Sim: Please keep in mind that this is a train add-on for a flight simulator, not a standalone train simulator! There are minor visual limitations due to terrain, photogrammetry, and map data.
- Compatibility: Works with SU5/SU6. If anyone can test this in MSFS 2020 and let me know if it works, I’d really appreciate it!
- Beta & Copyright: This is an early Beta release. Please do not re-upload, distribute, or steal any assets/code from this project.

I tested the version in Zurich. It works very well and the visuals are beautiful. I look forward to seeing the final versions.
The CH Train Monitor is very beneficial for adapting the software to its machine.
I love it! The trains make stops at their stations, great! sometimes I see 2 or 3 trains at a time and they feel awesome, my two observations would be: There’s no sound, and there seem to be some rough spots like this:
The traffic seems to be related to the time you put the sim in, correct?
Is this how they actually look like or is just an approximation?

EDIT: I just noticed there ARE sounds, but you need to be very close to trigger it, there’s no doppler effect like with AI planes, is this a limitation?
Hello. For germany the Data Source is very bad. Like a 5/10. Switzerland is a 10/10.
I cant adjust every line by hand, then i would spent like 1 year fulltime job for one country.
I will see what I can do to bake germany better.
I`m also reworking the sound system now.
And also have the full countrys of Italy, France, Austria working well.
correct, no point in doing this manually. If somehow can be improved cool, if not, no big deal. It’s already cool the way it performs now!

What country do you live? I will work on European countrys first. For USA its a bit complex and no real public timetables avaible. USA is far down my list.
Most Train liveries resembel the real ones. But I cant use any Logos and exact models due to licence issues.
Why am I not surprised at all? 
Was flying down the coast of Spain today and realized the train tracks go through most of the beautiful towns along the route. Would be awesome to have trains in the game - looking forward to this app’s development.
Nice to see that trains are coming back to msfs2024, i am also interested in participating full beta.

Just on a vfr flight in Switzerland and noticed a train heading east along the north side of Lake Geneva (I’m using the early version of the addon covering the whole of the country) and it really made me smile. Thank you for your work, I just hope there’s enough demand to keep you working on it and expanding the coverage.
Train in Paris. I`m on a good way, but I still have some issues and SIM limitations.
PG Sceneries are a big challange. But there will be a point where I can`t improve any further. Whole countires are huge and complex to build. I have it now working in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Austria and Switzerland.

Here are some screenshots of Nils’ great work on this train addon still in Beta. I must tell you I’m totally impressed with the quality of this addon. Nils made an extraordinary effort in creating an immersive system of train traffic across Europe that follows real timetables, realistic sounds and light effects, great variety of train types according to each country, realistic station stops, realistic frequency and density. All customizable from the in-sim menu equipped with a map where you can see the actual train traffic.

Yes, I agree, it’s a remarkable work and there are also the trams. When I fly in a helicopter and see the trains or trams passing below or in the distance, it gives an incredible immersion.

Not at all, as a matter of fact, I think these trains are very low poly and well optimized to run without any noticeable fps drop even in a potato pc like mine
