Retired pilot, all ratings not ATR. Have 1600+ hrs of STEAM sim. D/L apps & other programs, no problems. Tried this FS2020 can not make it work. Would appreciate a systematic approach. After D/L it says update and that is where it ends.
Push Download/Update and wait. It need a lot of time after first install. Could be a few hours.

I waited 4 hours, nothing, decomposing it says. What now?
Hows your hard drive space? I think its decompressing as well not decomposing

I know this can be frustrating. The main reason this fails is because the file it’s decompressing is corrupted.
When it does this (and 4 hours is too long to wait), end task on MSFS and open the folder where the downloaded package is at and delete that file it’s stuck on. Then relaunch MSFS and it will try to redownload again.
