Hi All,
I have 3 x 24" monitors connected to an RTX2070. For optimal performance should I run in single monitor mode (this will prevent me using other windows such as web browser, email, etc.) or extended mode?
Thanks

I run 3 x Acer 4k monitors in discrete monitor mode with windows extended desktop.
I start MSFS in Windowed mode and stretch the window 50% onto the left and right monitors. I then use the space external to the MSFS window to pull out a number of the instruments into a separate window.
For me the 2080 worked OK with a few tweaks to lower the reality settings but I’ve since upgraded to a 3090 which I can run at higher settings. (got the 3090 because the chance of finding a 3080 at the moment is non-existent)
Thanks. What is discrete monitor mode and how do you pull instruments over?
When I say discrete monitor mode I mean the standard windows extended desktop setting which allows your cursor to traverse the full desktop. This setting replicates the task bar on each monitor. I am NOT using the NVIDIA extended desktop which basically stretches the desktop to full width so you only have a single taskbar.
To pull instruments over, point your mouse at the instrument then press and hold the right Alt keyboard key. The mouse curser will change to a + symbol. Press the left mouse button and the instrument will open in a separate re-sizable window.
