Trouble with AsoboStudio/glTF-Blender-IO-MSFS

So I wanted to take a crack at making a simple livery. I downloaded Blender 3.3.12 LTS and the asobo GLTF impoter add on available here

So I managed to install the add on into blender and I checked the box to activate it. It changed from greyed out to highlighted so I assume I’ve done it correctly. Now I go to Import my GLTF and the tool does not appear in the drop down list and I’m not sure how I use it to import my file. I have been trying for almost 3 days to figure this out I don’t understand what I’m missing. Can anyone advise what the problem is or how I use this add on in Blender?

Hi, I think the official Asobo tool doesn’t really work for this. You can try using the unofficial msfs2blend tool which does let you import models directly Release v0.4 · bestdani/msfs2blend · GitHub

The exporter is build on the core Khronos glTF code, so it has the ability to import glTF files, However any Flight Sim specific extensions are not going to/may not import, Perhaps turn off the MSFS Asobo export code by unchecking it and try to import. Otherwise this is a Khronos issue and should be reported to them.
