hello all,
I use FS2020 since about 5 months, and could move the point of view of any cameras (cockpit, external and drone) by clicking down and maintening the right button of the mouse. since a bout 2 days, this feature diseapered ! I am absolutely sure not to have any change in any mouse related setting. It works perfectly outside of FS2020…I tried several setting in General-camera and/or Commands- mouse, but it has no effect at all.
Can some one helps ? Can you send a copy of you setting ?
I changed my mouse, but without any effect !

My right mouse button has never worked for anything in this sim, only middle/wheel but then, I have TrackIR so this might be the reason. Nevertheless in all your frustration maybe shut down the PC for a while a have a walk… that clears the head and calms the mood. Your behaviour is hilarious at best. Maybe people simply cannot help as they have no idea what you mean? Or what to do?
Well, maybe I would have tried to help you troubleshoot but after that? Na, not willing.

Thanks for your answer anyway, at least it tells me that an "hilarious behavior " can give some results sometime.
Anyway if you are interested let me describe my problem ;
I bought and installed FS2020 only a few days after it was released. I was abit sad not to be able to move the “free view” with the mouse at it was possible with the FSX version of flight simulator. fortunately, after some trial and errors in the Commands-Mouse setting of FS2020, I could get this Free view to be commanded by the mouse -press and hold right button and move the mouse makes the view to move freely in the cockpit and with outer view too- release the button and the camera stay where you left it, this is very convenient in VFR or to set the airplane prior to fly. This situation remains until a week ago when fter starting FS2020 I discovered that feature was gone, whatever General-camera setting or Commands-mouse setting I try… So now, rather than having one hand on the joystick (TCA Sidestick airbus edition) and the other hand on the mouse and fly comfortably, if I want to have a look on the airplane setting (propeller pitch on on the garmin setting or any of the many possibilities), I now have to let the joystick on its own an use my 2 hands to press the shitf key with left hand and the right hand ti press 2 , 4 8, or 6 to move the camera where I need. Very convenient isn’t it ?
So, if you ever change your mind about your decision of helping me, you will be welcome.
P.S. : I worked during the last 20 yeard for a German company locoated in ERlangen, so the facf you are German is a good new !

thanks for this, take your time, as I am retired so I have plenty of free time. In the forum, I could see that many flightsimmers have the same problem since quite a long time; let’s hope that Asobo will wake up and fix it soon.
If you have any suggestion they will be welcome anyway.
