Hi,
I use a MS Xbox controller exclusively for the drone camera. From one day to another, I face troubles with it as menues are closing immediately after opening (e.g. choice of airport when creating a flight). When the flight is ready, the weather windows pops up as well without doing anything. When I disconnect the controller, the issues are gone. I’ve changed nothing in the setup. All actions except in relation to the drone camera have already been deleted from the controller profile. Any idea?
That’s probably the issue with the wireless controller disconnecting and the game detects a new hardware which can overprocess the CPU and crash the sim.
What hardware do you use for your normal flying? You can try to bind both drone control with the flying control together to the same hardware. So you don’t need your Xbox controller for drone cam anymore.
I know I combined both my flight controls and drone cam controls into the same TCA Airbus Sidestick. They don’t conflict with each other if that’s what you’re worried about.
It’s a USB connected controller, not wireless.
For flying I use the X56 Pro. As from many other threads I know that it’s quite tricky to get this equipment into MSFS, so I’m happy it’s working well and I’m afraid to change anything here. The question for me is what has changed which makes the controller struggling so suddenly.
