Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight not working

HI,
I have had TB VelocityOne for approx. 1 year and it has been working all right with a Windows 10 PC.
Before Christmas I installed Windows 11 at the same PC and the problems started. The TB VelocityOne shall be compatible with Windows 11.
When I shall choose an airfield in MSFS it immediately zooms to maximum level while the whole earth is spinning wildly. In other words unusable.
It is not possible to calibrate at all. Even the basic controls like rudder, aileron and so on are not correct. I have tried several times and assured I am in PC mode and firmware version 1.4.0.
Can anybody out there help with advice ?

Correct - I’ve been using TB V1 on Win 11 for over a year without issues.

Why do you think this is due to the TB V1? Try unplugging the USB cable of the TB V1 and go back into the sim and see if the world still spins. It almost sounds like you have a stuck key or mouse button.

Turtle Beach has a very comprehensive set of instructions on their web site for calibration and I’ve done it several times successfully. I recommend that you follow the directions there and try a recalibration.

Lastly, I recommend:

  • make sure you don’t have any binding conflicts with other devices. Did you recently add a peripheral to your PC like a flight stick? I’ve had to make adjustments to the bindings on my flight stick to eliminate duplicate bindings on my TB V1.
  • make sure your profiles on the TB V1 align with the profiles in the sim. Again, well documented instructions are on the Turtle Beach web site.

Good luck!

The reason why I know that the TB VelocityOne is the reason for zooming and spinning earth is that all is normal when I connect my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Then is also the calibration OK. Rudder, aileron and so on works all right.
In the MSFS menu for assigning buttons and axis Logitech Extreme 3D Pro show correct name while the same menu do not show correct name when TB V1 is connected.
I have followed the calibration manual several times, but to no help.
Does anybody know how to restore the fabric settings ?

I have that same problem. Spinning stops when I unplug a Yoke. Controls are changed too and I can’t use this yoke anymore. It’s updated and calibrated. It spinning also when I create new profile with no buttons/ axes assigned.

What is it doing inside windows USB game controllers?

I GOT IT WORKING!!!

Just keep yoke’s usb connected to computer when starting it. And use blue 3.0- port.

Has anyone had a problem with MSFS and VelocityOne (Firmware 1.4).

My MSFS went a bit odd today and acted like it was my first time using the software. All of my settings have been changed, then when I tried to take a flight it seems the bindings have changed. For example, in Jet mode, bottom right button on the keypad was for the brake. Now it shuts-down the aircraft.

Has this happened to anyone else. I’ve not played recently due to illness and disability problems so I may not have noticed any announcements/emails from Turtle Beach and I’m also baffled as to why MSFS decided to have a factory reset this morning. All I wanted to do was get back up in the sky.

The only issues I’ve experienced when using my Turtle Beach V1 is:

  • When I don’t have the V1 on the correct profile
  • When I don’t have the profile set correctly in MSFS 2020 to align with the profile set on the V1 (I have multiple sim profiles for all of my controllers).
  • When I’ve mistakenly duplicated bindings with some other controller.
  • I have a 2nd PC I use for MSFS 2020, hence, I have different settings and sometimes when Microsoft syncs settings/bindings they get messed up between the 2 PC’s and the V1 starts getting wonky.

The issues above really aren’t because of the V1 its just where they show up.

Interesting, thanks for that.

I’ve updated my firmware to 1.5 and it’s still doing it, so I’ll have a play around with the profiles in MSFS 2020 I think as the problem seems likely to be there.

I could also use this opportunity to set-up my own profile for the V1 as I didn’t use all of the assigned buttons anyway.
