Just a little life hack, I have a loud’ish tower which sits beside me, and I have a Vornado desktop fan to keep my VR headset unfogged. I discovered that if I put my Vornado on top of my tower it deadens the sound from the tower fans, and it helps cool the unit as well. I still get the same VR headset ventilation with the airflow going across my face and not into my face. I hope this helps.

Yes, except my HP G2 VR Headset picks up everything. I was quite amazed how one fan deadens the sound of the other fans.
