We at UK ATC would like to offer a brand new type of environment for people to aviate, navigate and communicate in MSFS 2020!
We are hosting 2 events open to everyone:
- Introduction to MSFS 2020
- 27th of February (1900 Zulu / UK Local time)
- Suitable for brand new MSFS users
- A guide on how to use MSFS interface, download updates and troubleshoot
- Introduction to Light Aircraft
- Introduction to Commercial Airliners
- Flying 101
- How to use MSFS inbuilt features (maps, ground services, etc.)
- Introduction to Air Traffic Control
- 28th of February (1900 Zulu / UK local time)
- Suitable for amateur and experienced MSFS users who want to learn + develop their ATC skills with VATSIM controllers!
- Covering IFR and VFR procedures, phraseology and charts (including where to access and understand them )
- A great introduction for those wanting to pursue become (virtual) controllers!
This event is will be taking place across the weekend and there are 2 sessions - you choose which you’d like to attend!
We will provide ATC to pilots at the second event using the Flight Events client.
We have created this community driven project in order to:
• Provide training to brand new MSFS users
• Provide ATC services and training in a relaxed but informative environment
• Enable pilots to meet and fly together, with or without ATC
• Share knowledge in the aviation community
• To have fun!
All of this is completely free and run by group of highly dedicated and aviation enthusiasts ranging from VATSIM ATC controllers, new and experienced sim users and more!
