We’re having our first group flying event tonight (7pm Saturday 10th Oct) around grass strips in South Wales. Thanks to Ray-Ban Jockey for organising that🙂
If you would like to join us you can find more details on our UK Simmers Discord page
Just in case anyone fancies doing a tour of the US State Capitals
I’m doing it in a TBM930, but you can fly it anyway you want, with leg ranges varying between 43nm and 756nm.
Hi checking in from south coast Brighton have flown all the Microsoft Sims this one is awesome.
Hi chintz I fly out of Shoreham hope someone upgrades the lovely art deco terminal building.
You may like to try simshack lots of small airfield upgrades in the UK at a very reasonable price.
Freddie from the Wirral here - love this awesome piece of kit .Tried one of the challenges - the Bush Trip Nevada, found it quite stunning visually, It’s that good that I had a few frights going over the mountain ranges at an altitude of a thousand feet (Not good with heights
) The navigation side of it tests your skills as well - great fun !
If anyone wants to join me on Multiplayer - shout out
Good thread this.
Once I am done fettling I will certainly be ‘signing up’.
Cheers.
Hi, Exeter egte, been a casual simmer since forever. Had a break and started again with msfs. Never played multiplayer but did have look last night.
EGCC, 6miles NE on flight path, been simming since DOS
Right next door to Newcastle International. Gave up flying a good few years ago after getting PPL and several extra ratings, finished up flying a friends Chieftain but when I sold the business (Samson Aviation if anybody knows it) sort of lost my enthusiasm, although I do keep in spontaneous touch with a couple of friends who still fly. So when I saw this sim coming out thought I’d give it a go.
Now “waste” far too much time relearning how to fly - I try to be as close to the real thing as I can - and enjoying the occasional look at other parts of the world. Currently on C172, red c/s G-TELL, but intending to upgrade as I become more confident with the systems and the sim itself.
Any EGLM Simmers?
‘Fettling’ not a word you hear every day
Iv’e been a fettler all my life! Haha.
I’m a Lancashire lad but I think it’s etymology is of Yorkshire.
And yes, perhaps a little arcane today.
Having been dragged up On th’ hills near Burnley I use the dialect mi’sen.
