I’ve run both and ultrawide and AMDs version of surround. To me its all about the number out display outputs you want for the sim or other things.
I ended up sticking with the ultrawide so I only used one 1 output for the sim and could use the others for popouts and NeoFly.
Going 3 wide on monitors can look really good. iIf you have slim bezels and angle them right, it can be hardly noticeable. But nothing will be as seem less as an ultrawide.
