Did you submit this to Zendesk? If so, what is your ticket #?

No idea why it displays that.

Are you clicking “Launch” while at MS Store?
If so, I would go to Win 10 “Settings, Apps” and
click “Uninstall” in the MS FS App.

Then go to MS Store and Install FS2020 again.
MS Store will download he initial 1.xx GB will will
not download the additional 170 GB if it can see it on your PC.

I tried uninstalling in the store app and reinstalling but it stops at 1.67gb and when I launch the game I get the same error. I originally purchased the Standard version and then updated to Premium so I have more than one version option to install

Sorry, I can’t help you.

I don’t see an uninstall and reinstall option in my MS Store.
And I have no experience with updating to a Premium version.

Go to Settings > Apps, click on Microsoft Flight Simulator then click on Advanced options. Do these things in this order and retest in before each one. They are from least intrusive to most intrusive.

Repair
Reset
Uninstall

It wouldn’t hurt to click Terminate before each one just to make sure it isn’t stuck running in the background.

I’ll give this a try, thank you.
I had everything installed last night, played for a few minutes, rebooted my computer and tried playing again and that’s when I started getting the error messages.

You have to b careful and not delete your data and apps.

I did a complete uninstall and reformatted the the HD thinking I may have had residual files left on the old install HD. I purchased a separate SSD just for MS2020. I was wondering how to clean up an old install to get a fresh install?
I never had this problem with any other software install. I ran FlightSim2020 without issues since last year. Darn computer developed issues with updates not installing so I opted to do a fresh Windows 10 install.
Thanks for your help!!!

Hard to determine what has happened.

If you purchased a new SSD for FS2020,
you should have moved FS2020 to it.

When you refomated the HD, you lost everything on it.

Have no knowledge of your drives , etc…
