Unable to buy anything in market place. Is there a new problem ?
Its a known issue.
Download the xbox beta app and launch msfs from there. Try purchasing then.
OMG, don’t get me started. Ive been in the same predicament for a couple of weeks now. I spent a few days trying to fix this by researching it on the internet. I’ve found we aren’t the only ones but none of the proposed fixes worked. I spent 6 hours on the phone with Microsoft support yesterday over 3 different work orders they generated. Twice I was transferred to the Xbox gaming services department to see if they could figure it out. Long story short; they were unable to help. The Xbox people told me that a patch is coming this week that “should” address the issue. After 6 hours on the phone I gave up and the whole experience was so disheartening that I’ve decided to walk away from the sim until the patch. Frankly I’m not convinced the patch will work. They knew of the issue (Xbox department) but were unable to determine the cause or the fix.
I’ve had a similar experience. I’ve ended up buying the packs I wanted from OrbX but can I get a refund from Microsoft for my initial purchases… nope. Keen for me to help with their bug fixing, but I don’t have time for it - just want my money back for the issue they clearly recognise is happening!
Had a similar problem. Bought EGLC from marketplace but it said “purchase failed. wait 24 hours and if issue still persists, contact support”. Few minutes later I restarted the sim and the problem fixed itself. Didn’t launch from Xbox beta app.
I had a problem with my VISA, I switched to MC and all purchases went fine
Problem solved. Try “open” the game “not” as an administrator. Only “open”.
I used to have the same problem. Mine is Steam version.
The solution for me is to enable Steam Overlay in Steam’s setting. Problem solved.
