Microsoft Flight Simulator doesn’t have the premium planes/airports I paid for.
I purchased the Premium Deluxe version from the Microsoft store.
I have installed and uninstalled twice and have just completed my third install, still NO premium extras.
I have been on the phone with support for about 3-31/2 hrs spoke with 5 different team members in 4 different areas and received 4 different case numbers for each escalation.
Basic questions were have you tried to reinstall, how much did you pay, can I access your account and finally can i quick access your PC, all to no avail.
I was told this was a very unusual case - really put the first line in to a search engine and see the hits.
I found this " This is the biggest issue users have run into after installation, where the game doesn’t seem to recognise the extra content they should have received. I recommend turning automatic updates on just in case, which you can do via the step above."
Anyone had similar problems or have a way around this?

Yes hundreds of people had this issue including me. I just closed Steam and MSFS and restarted my computer, opened Steam again. When I entered the sim, the autoupdate started downloading premium deluxe content. From other people comments it seems that it just take a while. Some hours and a restart of Steam for the content to appear. Just be patient. Plenty of content to enjoy for a day or so.
I had the same happen with the Steam version.
Since validating the files and logoff and back on, restart the Game then ALL the files show up just fine.
Yet I thought after the end of that the folder file size would have been 145GB approx yet my MSFS folder is only 100GB after download a 3.7GB approx update.
All the crafts and airports are all showing up as thought inside the game.
I redownload b ut showing only 97.5 GB but no Premium Deluxe. What can I do ?
I have seen that there have been many problems with the steam edition. I am not going through steam but the Microsoft Store.
I have contacted MS and spent several hours on the phone being passed from area to area and received 4 different case numbers.
One solution offered was to get a refund and try again at a later time - not a real answer.
The last area was the xbox team who said that it was a very unusual problem and they would get back to me. I received an email with this link attached =

Why would they have an article addressing the problem if it was that unusual? It includes solutions for both the store and steam.
Tried the store solution it did not work.
I then created a new user on my desktop and tried again swapped to that account and tried again this time it took about 7 hours but said it was only 91.8GiB. When completed I ran it and all worked fine checked the aircraft now 30 
I went to a deluxe airport but I think it was the basic.

Are you talking about the Steam version or MS Store version?
If the Steam version, try sending a support ticket in and they will reply and sort it within a day.
currently having this problem… bought the upgrade from within the game no download has happened within the next 12 hours… we shall see if i ever get the verison of the game…
I found that I have 2-3 active Microsoft accounts personal, club and work.
The PC I have been trying to install MSFS 2020 on has a completely different MS account created when I installed Office 2019 and first setup Outlook, my normal email would not connect so I used a second email address and it created a MS account under that address.
When I check office it is linked to that email. When I opened the MS Store I noticed it was also linked to this account.
I checked the account I purchased MSFS on and found it was different to the one coming up on MS Store; so I change the store login to the one I used to purchase MSFS and downloaded for the 6th time.
I am happy to say it worked, it took about 7 hours but said it was only 91.8GiB. When completed I ran it and all worked fine checked the aircraft now 30.

MS store, I’ve uninstallit because on same SSD where is FSX everything was messed up. After that I’m trying to download through my microsoft account but getting always error. Can’t find the solution to get again Premium de luxe ? thanks, Serge
I already reply, it is MS Store version.What I would like to redownload Premium de luxe via my account but getting each time an ERREUR. I had unstalled my first download GB97 because it was messing up FSX on the sam e SSD. Im installing a new SSD 1TB for MSFS premium. Thanks for any help. Serge
I had it all been running well but after the update things went pear shaped, partly my fault and partly the upgrade.
Basically I stuffed up MSFS then tried to uninstall and could not download, getting error messages at the start.
It had been a while since I did a clean install of Windows 10 so I thought i would do it prior to attempting again.
Next day started the download and many many many hours later (I’m in Australia where the internet sucks) the installation was completed without a problem everything worked apart from the world map problem with the filters having to be set to default (thanks for the improvement).
Now waiting for the RTX3000 series to be available in Australia.
I got the Premium Deluxe Edition from the Microsoft Store. All was well until September 3rd. I watched a video on how to install the livery’s Megapack and did as instructed. Ever since then I load up the Sim and only have access to Standard Version Aircraft and Airports, even though my logbook shows flights I did with the 787-10 but the plane is not available any longer. Also Live Traffic/Weather etc. are not working. The globe map when planning flights used to have the clouds that are currently around the earth, but now there are none. Also when I have an airport highlighted and click on Live Airport Activity it says “Server Offline” in red letters. I really would like to avoid uninstalling and re-installing , so any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!!
