Brief description of the issue:

I have just built a new machine but I’m unable to install the sim from the store.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

I get stuck here, the “install” button doe not progress me further.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Constant, unable to progress with installation.

PC specs for those who want to assist (if not entered in your profile)

CPU: Ryzen 9, 5950X
MB: ROG Strix 570 F
GPU: RTX3090
RAM: 32 GB 3600 mhz, XMP Profile 1
Storage: NVMe

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

Unable to install.

Are you on the Steam or Microsoft Store version?

Not yet. I’m hoping there is a quick fix.

OK, I’ve been playing about. To fix this I did.

Installed on any drive that would accept the initial install.
Then I was able to select the drive I favored for the mass install during the next stage of installation.

Edit: To clarify, I was doing the first part of the install on a drive I wanted, the store seems to favor the root drive.

Correct. About 8Gb will go to C. The in-game installer is where you can point to the other drive.

Yes. I should have been aware. But long day building/making work a PC made my Brian go to mush. But at least this is a quick reminder for some that forget or don’t know.
