Unable to interact with the flight sim

hiya. I was just cruising, and then I think I opened my ATC window, when my VC interaction completely stopped. I can’t interact with any of the VC buttons, I can’t move my yoke in the simulator, and my flight simulator basically does not work.

I have always used the legacy cockpit interaction system, though it turns out that changing it to legacy for everyone else fixes the same issue for them. but I’ve always used legacy, and it still just doesn’t change anything if i switch it around. ive tried resetting the camera, ive got no overlay windows, and im not using home cockpit mode, all three which have generally been used to fix the same issue, but its just not made a change for me.

Anyone got any methods I could try, please?

Often when this happens, it can be a mod conflict which causes the issue.
This can be a conflict between a scenery, or AI livery, or basically any addon that did not come with the base sim.
Another thing you can check is to what is selected under General Options - Sound, check to ensure that Main Device Output and Communication Device Output are both selected to the same source as your PC’s selection.

In any case, I wouldn’t be too concerned unless it continues to do so on a regular basis.

really do appreciate the reply. turns out all I had to do was restart the flight simulator. working perfectly now
