Any idea what’s going on here?
I had the “unable to validate your license” error, so signed out of xbox app, restarted, loaded the sim again and now I am presented with a 21GB update. I was already on 1.23.12.0.
This is getting so tedious now.

Having the same problem.
Just backing up my community folder before deciding whether to press “update”. Glad it’s not just me… although I am so frustrated.
I re started and it cleared.
Unfortunately not for me, having to do the update. Looks like it wants to do the whole initial setup too as it’s step 1 of 5. Oh well, just going to leave it running. Cheers.
What for? It’s not touching the files in the community folder. Only those in the “Official” one.
Well I wasn’t sure what’s going on here - or why - and once when I had an update following a beta test, my community folder was wiped as well.
Community folder is ok, but all my settings are reset, all the aircraft and things such as landing challenges that I’d uninstalled have been re-installed, custom views and key commands are gone. So annoying!
18Gb update here on PC/MSStore and I was just flying in the sim an hour ago. I only rebooted for some Windows updates. What the?
If you check under your Gamer Tag does it show 1.23.13 after the update? If so, then you’re probably getting the update a number of XBox users reported a week or so ago. So far there seems to be 2 sizes - one a little over 7Gb and one around 23Gb I believe. There has been no official word on what the .13 update does or why two sizes. XBox users weren’t receiving the 2202 AIRAC update before this mystery update but that’s been observed to be fixed after it installs.
Hi, it’s showing 1.23.12.0 still. All very strange.
I have quite the same problem: at the start up request a new installation
