It’s insanity. I guess my Xbox updates automatically while it sleeps? I didn’t have any idea my sim was updated until I saw this thread and looked…sure enough v13. So I have no idea the size of the download.
My Xbox updated too but I’ve been playing all evening on the sim and everything seems fine. Not sure what the update could’ve been.

I think that my Xbox Series X updated, but it did it over night. I’ve not seen any negative impact or changes except the version number under my gamer tag. As with FieldGunner, the release notes still say 1.23.12.
Are you sure you got nothing or did yours update in the background? I didn’t know mine updated but I do have v13 after checking on the Xbox Home Screen.

I definitely had the update, mine was 7.43GB.
Then, yesterday afternoon, I went out and bought a second Xbox Series X and installed the sim from scratch onto it early evening and it is also 1.23.13.0

I just checked and found the rolling cache greyed out, too, stuck at 32gb. I got the 35gb on xBox x, as mentioned earlier.
Only did a quick traffic pattern since, but everything else seems to be fine.
The app has been running slow since this update came in.

Not really - I am in that boat now, i held off, updated after 1 day, i can see no change in gameplay at all.
Therefore what was in that 7gb of data I just had dumped on my xbox - was it malicious? was it hacked? was it a bug fix for something i have not tested yet?
You can’t simply dump updates out and not tell anyone why, its digitally unethical these days.

That’s interesting. Mine is stuck at 0 GB, even though I had it set to 32 GB before this all started.
I can fly smoothly at first, but only if I go to a smaller, less complex airport and stay close by. As soon as I venture away from the airport, within maybe 3 to 5 miles, the stutter and freeze fest starts, and it doesn’t let up from there. One interesting thing is that the loooooong freezes always happen in the same locations. They happen frequently once they begin, but if I go back and try the same flight I’ll get the same freezes in the same pattern of locations every time. That would suggest this problem is related somehow to terrain streaming, but that’s just a guess.
Try game management and then to updates to force any that are deployed

The Xbox will update apps and even install games while on instant on mode and sleeping. It was lovely not having to sit through the installation process when the game released - was queued up on my phone and done by the time I got home from work. It won’t update itself though if the update is pushed through the FS install manager on startup.
I assume this update is MS deployed as mine updated without ever opening FS.
Well what can I say after SU8 MSFS was working flawlessly for me no screen blackouts no crashes but now after this update screens blackout all the time APP don’t work anymore so having to land manually if I can land at all seems for me nothing has happened but been made bad again when I had it working brilliant with no issues and rewarding flights. Now it’s just a mess again. I payed nearly 100 pounds to have the premium package which is nearly unusable. If it’s not sorted soon I want a refund. I refuse to pay for something I can’t use! I definitely think star airports are a real issue and play a massive part in the screens blacking out. Somehow this issue was resolved after SU8, for me anyway but like I said earlier since the 7GB update things have gone back to how they were. NEAR UNUSABLE!! I really hope it’s sorted soon I really do as I really like to fly but I get so frustrated when things don’t work how they should, especially when Ive paid good money to have a good package that should be usable but isn’t.
Couldn’t agree more. Microsoft seem keen to make it easier for us to purchase more and more from marketplace without delivering a stable SIM for us to use. I want Microsoft and Asobo to get the SIM stable and reliable before adding more stuff to buy.
I am using the Xbox platform and I am tired of these constant ctd’s, ATC problems, black instrument panels etc and now the world map is playing up. Used to be able to click on a ramp or gate as departure or arrival point, but now I have to use drop downs to select them. I have uninstalled all add-ons and have reinstalled fs2020 but still have the same problems. Now considering cutting my losses and permanently uninstall the SIM. After all the hype, the SIM is fundamentally flawed and simmers both on Xbox and pc have been let down.

I’ve also noticed since the update that when I launch the game the title screen with the daher tbm hangs around for atleast 2 mins before booting the game up where as before it was there for 10 secs max before the game booted up. I really don’t know what’s going on with it. And I agree before more content gets added in the marketplace the sim needs to be stable so we can actually use it to begin with. I certainly won’t be spending anymore money as I’ve bought quite alot of add-ons already and had to uninstall them as they don’t work how they should! So until I can reinstall the add-ons I have and they work as they should Microsoft and other developers will be getting no more money from me!
Well that right there is dedication to beta testing!! 
I’m having huge issues right now and don’t know if it’s related to this version of the sim (i found already updated, checked in game the sim version and it’s the .13)
the sim refuse to load up and get stuck in the start up loading screen (restarting the console fix this and i can get past the first loading screen); if i get past it i get repeated ctd (i had like 5 in total in months) moments before the flight start whithin the pre flight loading screen (at 80/90 percent it crashes)
i was so happy about the kodiak this morning and got punished; it’s really getting impossible to play, even get in the menu is a challenge

I use xbox s with the latest update installed, everything seems to work fine for me at the moment, indeed a bug I had with runway lights is solved, just random some ctd when I use Iris’s Grob but it happens when I load a new flight, now I think that I will buy the Kodiak
