Okay, so I know how to install and uninstall products out of my content manager. But there are so products that I will never download again that I purchased through the Microsoft store. I would like to delete those permanently to where when I go into content manager with MSFS they no longer show in the not installed section. Is there anyway to get rid of those so that they are not sitting there. Do I need to go to the actual Microsoft store soon on and delete those out of my account for good. Thank you for your help…
We’ve moved your topic into the Community Support category for community assistance.
The Bug Reporting category is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce. Using the template is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.
If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the Community Support category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug Reporting category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.
If you believe it is a new report, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.
If you search around on the forums there have been other topics created for this.
If you are on PC, and the items were downloaded outside of the Marketplace and still show up under “uninstalled” removing them from your Community Folder will remove them.
But for any purchases within the Marketplace, I believe they always show up within Content Manager.
I fully agree. I’d like to get rid of the Orbis Eye Hospital that was kinda cool to tour around in for a few minutes, but I now want to get rid of it.
In my opinion, this is done so Microsoft can avoid headaches. If this feature were implemented, you can be guaranteed that MS would be dealing with people that accidentally erased something that they actually want to keep. It would be the true definition of a “make work” project.
The link you provide leads to a HUGE list of things. I tried searching but found nothing relevant.
I also would like to remove free content - the I downloaded the Orbis hospital aircraft because I thought it was a flyable model. It isn’t and I’d really like to “back it out” so it’s no longer in my content manager.
