What happened after you put the scale back again?
Put it back, does not solved.
I have find out that I’m able to use the mouse with the pointer right on top of the buttons, after the reactivation of the developer mode (because I’m a developer!!!)
For some reason, the developer mode rescale a little bit the view and that allows the usage of the mouse.
What an stupid issue!
So i have to put the sim in dev mode?
I have 3 screens and the left and right work ok but the middle one generates a mouse pointer that is on the side of the actual buttons.
I have put the screens in full screem mode but that didn’t work either. This whole moude thing started after i installed a third screen.
Yes, Now just play in dev mode in order to have the mouse clicking in the center of the buttons.
Regarding that I don’t care the registration log, so I will keep flying like that.

Does anyone know about the additional in-sim mouse cursor? I don’t mean the white dot with the circle around, but the big dark grey filled circle with a sharp corner at one side that is laid on top of the default mouse cursor.
I have this one sometimes when connecting the my mouse, but it disappears soon.
However, this one is really precise. You can even see that this cursor goes very precise and immediately with the hand movements to its target and the default mouse cursor lags behind, reaching the target a few milliseconds later.
Does anyone know what this cursor is about? I would like to use this one as it has very precise movement, but I cannot get it to work. As if it appears randomly when connecting the mouse but then disappears.
Is it a dead topic. No solution??Is that the reason nobody has written again on the topic.
Well I am relatively new to MSFS on Xbox.Ten months to be precise. While I initially thought that the problem may be with my mouse it has transpired after utterly getting frustrated with this lag and stutter and finally landing on this topic that I find that the bug is somewhere else.
I have even tried a new mouse but the issue keeps cropping up.One can imagine the frustration after one has done long flight and making preparations for landing that you have no control over the plane and running here and there looking for Xbox controller to get some sanity in the cockpit.
Question is where do we go from here.Do we live with this bug which is neither desirable nor I dare say unacceptable.Reviving the matter is certainly the need of the hour.
This isn’t the original thread on this, but I think its the oldest thread that is still open.
I thought I would share some imagery from games I have purchased in recent years which show how mouse controls should be done, as well as tie in links to the various threads out there that discuss this topic as I feel it has been overlooked, and interest fractured into many topics.
First of all the imagery.
The first game I purchased the other day. It’s the Halo Master Chief collection, first released in 2014, then again in 2019.
There are options to set mouse sensitivity, mouse acceleration on/off, and mouse smoothing, the last some interpret as negative mouse acceleration. The only way to improve this that I see is to allow separate X,Y sensitivity scaling, but by no means a massive omission.
Here’s an interesting one, because it is implicitly missing. The game is Abiotic Factor. Mouse has sensitivity sliders for X, and Y, which is great. Underneath you will see “deadzone” options for controllers. These are to tune out small movements of those little broccoli sticks you have to use. What Asobo have done is have those options enabled for both the controller and mouse. These developers did a much better job of having those options only for the controller.
Below are the threads that are, or were discussing this issue.

This has been reported since at least December 2020, and yet still no movement on this, and in fact has gotten worse under 2024, as we now have that “deadzone” effect, or negative mouse acceleration as I call it, as well as regular mouse acceleration. This thread predates the 2024 release though.
Hi,
This laggy and imprecise mouse movement on screen, I noticed since the very first time installing MSFS2020 on Xbox X.
When I play Cyperpunk2077, everything is fine and full functional.
I have still another bug to add with this, keyboard and mouse connection issues, simply does not want to work, only with workarounds now and again.
I had twice already a ticket in with Zendesk, uninstalled whole game three times including deleting cloud save and Xbox account as requested by support.
No solution, and I got the impression: they don’t care.
I also have some big mouse issues and they are there in 2024
Unable to make small precise movements with the camera. It was there in 2020, got fixed, and returned in 2024
SU2 beta issue still persists
