The download progress is very slow. It moves along to a certain level of completion then regresses back a few GB and repeats its self several times before moving on a bit higher and then starts the regression pattern all over again. it has taken at least 35 minutes to complete 24 GB of the 135 GB download. Is there a bug in the download package?

When you see the progress bar move backwards, you’re in the dreaded “download loop.” Shut down the sim, then open your Official\OneStore folder. Delete anything that’s not a folder, then restart the sim. You may need to do this a time or two, but it will eventually finish.
