I started MSFS 2020 today and twice it asked me to update , updated restarted and again asking to update 5.53 GB

Aside from an optional beta build for Xbox players, we have not released any new updates since World Update 10 on June 14. If you were prompted to install multiple updates today, it’s possible that you either hadn’t yet installed the latest version (1.26.5.0) or your local installation got corrupted somehow.

Go into your Official folder, where you will see a long list of packages, and sort by date descending order.
All the ones with that days date will be the ones that got updated. That might answer your question.

Thanks for your reply. I had already updated world update10 in June that is why I was surprised to get these update notices.
I have been using MSFS 2020 without any issues after the world update in June.
May be something got corrupted.
I will check the folders again as suggested
