After the supposed “update” my game just refused to download any more than 150mb, after that it would just restart.
SO i tried to reinstall the whole game… same thing happens but at 600mb. It gets stuck on file: Asobo-aircraft-B787-10-0-1.35.fspackage .
anyone else had this issue and how do you solve it? its the steam Edition.
(Or do i blame the french… im British im allowed)
BLAZ3R. I am in the same boat, 5 days trying and still looping. No communication from anybody (ASOBO or MS) that there is an issue and a complete waste of money so far. I appreciate all the complaints about graphics and navigation etc, but I cannot even access the game to suffer these issues. I have tried workarounds (Netlimiter etc) nothing has worked for me. Steam will not refund and I cannot get anything from Zendesk/Asobo. Frustration is not the word.

I would complain to Steam. That’s who you made the deal with. Call them and tell them please bend over before Joe Pesci does the job. 
OK update: what I had to do was … CLEAR EVERY SINGLE INTERNET CACHE that I could find. clear the microsoft appstore cache which I think was the issue, another thing is if you have Chrome running that also doesnt help.
make sure you have zero other internet useage apps open until it actually starts to download. so far ive got it up to 3GB now seems stable. but will update later.
Joking aside, I don’t know the Steam Edition. Do you still need the Xbox-PC app? If, download again, install, login and try again.

yuo still need at least the imcrosoft store as thats is where it downloads from.
