Well, I’m finally getting around to updating all my addons… I just updated my C172 Premium Deluxe Classic Daniel Webster College liveries to SU12 level. The G1000 version is soon to follow.
They represent several of the 19 1999 & 2000 C-172R’s that were owned by the flight school Daniel Webster College at Boire Field in Nashua, NH, registrations N671DW - N689DW. Daniel Webster College was created in 1978 by the merger of the New England Aeronautical Institute (1965) and NEAI’s Daniel Webster Junior College division (1967). Nashua Airport would become one of the busiest airports in New England in terms of take-offs and landings due to its use by DWC for flight training. At the turn of the century, they purchased 19 C-172’s, several of which are depicted here, to replace a fleet of 12 C152’s, to fly along with 3 Piper Arrow III’s, 3 Piper Seminoles, several Mooney M20J’s, and 5 CAP-10 Aerobotic planes. Sadly, the flight school closed for good in 2013 due to financial problems, but it can live on here in MSFS.
Don’t forget to also check out my addon for KASH Boire Field at Flightsim.to. The field has changed a lot since those days, the runway was shifted over and lengthened, more parking and hangars added, but still feels like home, and is really busy with lots of training still going on. It’s a beautiful airport to fly out of, along with a great restaurant to eat at.
