My downloads are really slow like not even 1 megabit per second this is really frustrating for me
(My internet is 20 megabit)
Pls asobo use steam for updates and ditch the launcher, I think azure servers aren’t good thats why this is a problem and steam servers might be on aws
Done here yesterday, around 20 MB/S of speed. It seems that issue it’s not on ASOBO side, you should have a better connexion, 20 MB to current days is really low. I have a 200MB connection for example.
So its using 1/20th of my bandwidth lol I am on fibre
Steam uses my full bandwidth
How would having more bandwidth solve this
Literally everything I use makes use of my full bandwidth except this launcher ._.
For me with Fibre good,no problem untill time!
My download speed were good at launch when i downloaded the game but now its really slow like .80 megabit when updating
Perfect, keep your current speed if you are happy, my words it was only to show the difference. I have the same 20 MB/S with Steam, despite I have 200MB connection. But I have the same 20 MB/S in average to download MSFS and updates.
Your connection is faulty or you are getting scammed
Might be your hdd is really slow to write data
Yup, no probs here on a fast M.2 external drive
Also am African max is 100 megabit in my country and costs $100 per month

You can’t expect with a 200 MB/S connection to have downloads at 200 MB/S or near this? It’s not on this way that runs.
Understand, not easy, I pay here in Europe around $70 per month, of course with TV package included.
But how is steam making use of my full bandwidth but not asobo launcher??

Me too, i get 0.1Mbit/s download speed. Testet my spped on other Sites i get around 240 Mbit/s ( i have a 250 Mbit connection. ) Tryed, 4k Streaming, and other sites to download, all ok, but the Installer stucks at 0.1Mbit…so i can not download the Update…or it takes Weeks!

Same man they don’t listen to us now because we already paid $60 for their game
They are too proud to just push the updates via steam like 90% of games do
This honestly left a bad taste in my mouth for xbox game studios games probably all their future games will use these kinds of launchers
The download speeds for the last few MSFS patches have been terrific. I’m really happy. In relation Steam downloads are about a third of what I can reach on the MS servers. Granted there are a lot of variables here but for me it’s absolutely no problem.

Not one single person is happy about their launcher used for downloading updates, they have gotten thousands of requests to use steam but they don’t do it
They just ignore us
