tried to open game a day ago and it offered me an update , started it as normal but gets to 5% or so then throttles back to zero and puts update back to the start again , version appears to be 1.36.2.0 , disabled virus scan , no different , is there a way of avoiding the update initailly and starting it in the marketplace? , anyone else with this issue from February 19th

I ran the sim yesterday and had the same ‘Mandatory Update’ appear. As far as I know, there’s no way to start the sim without allowing a mandatory update to proceed.
Mine downloaded and installed as dirt slow as usual over my 1 Gb fiber connection, but that’s a whole other topic…
It completed, and after the update I got to see the cool Dune Arrekis splash screen. The sim loaded fine.
