Thanks guys, was super stoked myself I managed to get those Bushwheels done finally. Happy you love’em so much!
Nope you’re doing just fine. Bigger engine in small plane means you can cruise at significant lower %, yet have lots of “boost” power available for takeoff or getting you out of a fix.
Also, about the needles moving into the yellow and red…it’s alright for 5 minutes or so as you’ll be pushing the engine beyond “Max Continuous” RPM of 5500.
In any case this is a major release. The next one will bring refinements to all the goodies you have now. Will be watching all feedback too, like yours
Great… now I only have to finally learn not to tip over way too often when try to land this bird.
Yeah that is a bit easier to do now with the new tires somehow. May need to decrease braking power by a fraction. But if you land around 30kts, brake with full back pressure, you’ll be fine.
Well, I managed to tip over even with the smaller tires often enough
Doesn’t help that I’m switching planes all the time… lol.
No that certainly does not help!
Taildraggers do require special care
“Marge!”
“What Henry!”
“Xmas has arrived early!”
“It has?”
“Yes dear, Gravel Rash has released the Super Dooper Savage Carbon Cub!”
“Oh bless him Henry. Where’s mine?”
“On back-order dear. You can ride in the back of mine dear”, Henry replied, nervously.
“To h-ll with that Henry. I want mine now!”
“But Marge, there’s only 1 on its way!”
“I don’t care Henry. It’s mine & my call sign is BAM!”
“BAM, what is that short for dear?”
“Bad A-s Marge!”

Back in the day… lady Marines had the nicknames of BAMs. Broad ■■■ Marines.
Probably ought to keep that to yourself… Marge may not take that well.
Absolutely beautiful on the back of the power curve, stick all the way back, nice smooth landing. Beautiful.
LOVE the new release! Thank you again!!
A bit windy here in central Indiana today… 16 knots gusts to 30. Landing into a 16 knot headwind… isn’t ‘landing’'… more like ‘planting’ - ZERO rollout.
Sort of like this Shock Cub…
Fantastic work! This thing almost levitates straight up on takeoff and it just about hovers at 30 knots. It is a true go anywhere machine.
Doesn’t seem to be as crisp in response… a bit wobbly in the corners… or have the top end speed as previous…
Drag from the big ■■■ bush tires?
What an AWESOME aircraft to fly!!! True meaning of Low and Slow, and in my opinion, A Thing of Pure Beauty! The detail, OH My, right down to the mesh coverings in the landing gear, and that prop! Think I spent more time on the outside, looking at all the eye candy, than I did in the cockpit… She slips real nice too! Can’t wait till ya put her on Floats… I know my XCub’s going to be sitting in the barn for a while! Best investment I’ve made too date! Love the Bolt! Me thinks you are gonna have to put some lower numbers on the speed gauge…
YES there’s even a slight pendulum moment in pitch you can use to your ADVANTAGE. Play with throttle +/- 100 RPM and watch the nose
