Can there be an update made with the time setting earlier than 1990 somehow, like 1935 in MSFS 2020 please?

Is that a new functionality you would like into the sim ?, why would you like to be able to setup a date prior 1990 ?
Yes, so I can use certain dates of old aircraft back in the day, like 1935.
What would change into the sim if you setup a date like 1935 ?. You can already use old aircraft without having to change the date.
For example, operating aircraft that used to be in service with some airlines and military agencies earlier than 1990. That’s what I’m talking about.
But you can already do that, some aircraft of that era exist into the sim, as well as ones developed by 3rd parties. The date into the sim does not impact the list of aircraft you have access to.
I am talking about the weather & live weather setting. Besides, certain aircraft don’t fly anymore so I like to imagine back in the day somehow, got it?
You expect the sim to recreate the weather from a particular date in 1935?

That wish may be of some interest. If such a functionality was going to be implemented, I guess the in sim calendar should be updated to allow older past dates:
What you need to do is create a Wishlist request for MSFS to consider it.

do you want historical weather from 1935 or what exactly is it that you want?
I mean, nothing will change in the sim at all if you change the Year to 1935.
And weatherdata back to 1935 has to be stored somewhere on the servers, which would be a HUGE amount of data, which most of no one will ever use and probably doesnt even exist.
So i think if you talk about historical weather, you will be out of luck.
But yeah, make a wishlist request, but i can assure you already it wont happen. Jorg already mentioned that they would have to start recording weather data from now on, for more that 24h historical weather.
Agreed. Maybe historical data for a year old rolling cache can be made. But 1935!? Like others said, nothing really will change. Who cares if it’s sunny day on a Tuesday now or 90 years ago. Sim looks same. I’d say resources for historical weather should be very targeted such as big storms perhaps. Or better yet, into other features.
