I’m getting pretty stable flights now (so far so good).
I’ve simplified my startup procedure which I find now works for me…(i7 10700, rtx3080, 32g)
- I Fresh Reboot Windows PC
- With Quest 2 powered off, I turn it on and enter Settings to enable Oculus, and then…
- Oculus gui should automatically start up on pc.
- I Open Debug (not Tray Tool-I setup my Tray Tool before session with my ideal settings, save, close and forget).
I keep Oculus and Debug open and minimized to task bar. - I Start up FS (if I see the VR option at bottom of Welcome screen (I’m good to go), I can click it or ctr-tab.
- Giant 3D FS menu is large and easy to navigate.
With this exact procedure I don’t seem to be getting all the issues, bugs, slow fps and ctd’s anymore. Yet I don’t trust this finicky game.
But today is another day in the life of MSFS
