Updating Content Manager

Firstly apologies if this has been covered in a previous post (if is has please share the link) I did have a look but there were multiple threads about various updates and I just want to ask a simple question.

I’ve found in content manager I have quite a number of items that need ‘updating’ manually, quite a few of them seem to be about Japan. There are also a few Third Party updates, Seminole and Wycambe Air Park.

If i select them all it gives me the option to Delete and Update. Should i therefore;

  1. Delete the existing content first before updating
  2. is it just safe to update.

I’ve not had any CTD events to date so don’t want to do this wrong and cause myself problems.

Anything within the content manager can just be updated, no need to delete it. you may find for some 3rd party add ons you need to delete or update from their own site.

the easiest way I’ve found is just go to the select all and hit the update button and it will work through any content that needs to be updated.
